Model 100.IR
100 L crystallization reactor — 30–40 L distillate input, -50°C to 220°C
Rated capacity
30–40 L distillate input
The 100.IR is the largest model in our IR isolate crystallization line, built around a 100 L jacketed stainless-steel reactor vessel, used to produce THCA and cannabinoid isolate. It accepts a distillate input of 30–40 L, operates across a temperature range of -50°C to 220°C, and features a vertically adjustable z-axis stir paddle for uniform particle size. The filter assembly includes a Nutsche filter on an adjustable mobile cart.

Post-distillation refinement — crystallizes a single cannabinoid out of distillate to produce isolate or THCA diamonds. The 100.IR Crystallization Reactor is well suited to:
Cannabis Extraction
Licensed cannabis extraction and processing facilities operating under state or national licence
Pharmaceutical
Pharmaceutical-grade extraction for CBD, THC, and other cannabinoid products
Regulated Facilities
Extraction facilities operating under documented quality and process controls

Best for
GMP and EU GMP context
GMP is a facility and process standard. It applies to the building, the procedures, the documentation and the people together — no extraction system carries a GMP certification on its own.
What decides whether a system helps or hinders an EU GMP programme is its material selection, hygienic design and the qualification documentation available for it. Our guide to EU GMP cannabis extraction equipment sets out what to look for and which questions to put to any supplier.
Crystallization solvent selection depends on the target cannabinoid and your process. Confirm solvent compatibility for your intended process with Decimal Engineering when configuring the system.
Room classification depends on the solvents present in the room, not on this system alone. If your crystallization process uses a flammable solvent, that drives the classification — the determination is made by your local authority having jurisdiction during the facility code review.
GMP — including EU GMP — is a facility and process standard: it applies to the building, the procedures, the documentation and the people together, and no extraction system carries a GMP certification on its own. Whether a system helps or hinders an EU GMP programme comes down to its material selection, hygienic design and the qualification documentation available for it. Contact Decimal Engineering to discuss configuration options for your facility.
A current specification sheet for the 100.IR Crystallization Reactor is available from Decimal Engineering on request, and customers receive access to a standard operating procedure (SOP) library for their equipment. Documentation packages to support IQ/OQ/PQ and facility turnover are available; scope varies by model and configuration.
