Model 80.TF
Dual-stage thin film distillation with automated feed over 50 L/hr
Rated capacity
Automated feed of over 50 L/hr.
The 80.TF is a dual-stage thin film distillation system with an automated feed of over 50 L/hr. Precision Teflon (PTFE) rollers create a uniform film thickness, producing 95%+ pure distillate in a single pass through a fully jacketed stainless steel system.

Post-processing — refines crude extract into high-purity distillate by separating compounds under vacuum at their boiling points. The 80.TF Thin Film Distillation is well suited to:
Cannabis Extraction
Licensed cannabis extraction and processing facilities operating under state or national licence
Pharmaceutical
Pharmaceutical-grade extraction for CBD, THC, and other cannabinoid products
Food & Beverage
Food-grade extraction for essential oils, flavors, and botanical extracts
Regulated Facilities
Extraction facilities operating under documented quality and process controls

Best for
GMP and EU GMP context
GMP is a facility and process standard. It applies to the building, the procedures, the documentation and the people together — no extraction system carries a GMP certification on its own.
What decides whether a system helps or hinders an EU GMP programme is its material selection, hygienic design and the qualification documentation available for it. Our guide to EU GMP cannabis extraction equipment sets out what to look for and which questions to put to any supplier.
Distillation does not add a process solvent — it refines crude extract by separating compounds under vacuum at their boiling points. Crude entering the still is normally winterized and decarboxylated upstream.
Room classification depends on the solvents present in the room, not on this system alone. Distillation itself introduces no process solvent, so classification follows from the rest of your process and is determined by your facility code review with the local authority having jurisdiction.
GMP — including EU GMP — is a facility and process standard: it applies to the building, the procedures, the documentation and the people together, and no extraction system carries a GMP certification on its own. Whether a system helps or hinders an EU GMP programme comes down to its material selection, hygienic design and the qualification documentation available for it. Contact Decimal Engineering to discuss configuration options for your facility.
A current specification sheet for the 80.TF Thin Film Distillation is available from Decimal Engineering on request, and customers receive access to a standard operating procedure (SOP) library for their equipment. Documentation packages to support IQ/OQ/PQ and facility turnover are available; scope varies by model and configuration.
