Full equipment purchases are governed by the executed proposal, order, purchase agreement, and Terms and Conditions of Sale, which may contain additional data handling terms and control in any conflict. We update this policy as needed. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
We collect contact, order, account, and usage data directly from you and from third parties (e.g., Shopify, Stripe).
We use information to provide services, marketing, security, and compliance purposes.
When you use our quote wizard, the personal and commercial information you enter is saved locally in your own web browser using your browser's localStorage. This lets you resume your quote without re-entering data. This information stays on the device you are using unless and until you submit it to us.
If you upload floor plans, facility layouts, or other documents, those files are stored privately on our systems and are accessible only to authorized Decimal personnel and service providers who help us operate the site. They are retained for as long as needed to provide the service you requested and to meet our business and legal obligations. You may request deletion of your uploaded documents at any time by contacting us at hi@DecimalEngineered.com.
Our Charlie AI assistant sends conversation content to a third-party AI model provider that acts as an external processor in order to generate responses. This means the text you enter into Charlie is transmitted to and processed by that provider. We retain Charlie conversation records to operate and improve support, and you may request deletion of your conversation records at any time (see "Your Rights and Deletion" below).
We do not sell your conversation content. We are still verifying the third-party provider's data retention and model-training terms; we do not represent that your content is or is not used to train the provider's public models until that has been confirmed in writing. We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site and understand usage. This includes:
